Synopsis[edit]

"Homer angers Marge by binging their favorite show without her, and has to pick up a new skill in order to make amends. Meanwhile, Bart prepares to compete in "Krusty's Holiday Trample"."

Plot[edit]

Bart phones Homer at night while at a sleepover because he had enough of Milhouse's antics but Homer refuses to go over. Another call comes in and Marge gets the news that her aunt Eunice is dying and she has to board the plane. Of all the things she lists while preparing to depart there is a new season of Odder Stuff on Netflix and to not binge-watch it without her, which he promises.

Marge, Patty and Selma go to Eunice house in Gainesville, Florida and Patty and Selma start deciding what stuff they'll get after her death, but when she finds out, she gets mad and smashes a lamp. While attending at Maggie, Bart and Lisa start watching Odder Stuff, and the same happens at work, to Homer's dismay, though Krusty is dealing with children watching it instead of his show.

Ted Sarandos convinces him to watch it, but as the season comes to an end, Marge returns home, she gets angry at him for watching it alone instead of with her. Marge gives him the cold shoulder, literally, too. Meanwhile, Krusty hosts a contest, which earns the winner a run through his store for 5 minutes and whatever toy they grab will be free, they just need to do an essay.

At night, Homer has a nightmare, where he's trapped in vines from the underworld and tries Reverend Lovejoy's help, but after spoiling the ending of The Crown, he sends him to hell, so only Ted Sarandos can help him, telling him she loves watching dance shows.

Homer goes to the Some of That Jazz beginning dance studio to learn how to dance, but his instructor Julia has trouble teaching him, so she calls in Sweet Sal, a much thougher instructor, while telling Marge he was going to Moe's Tavern every night.

When he comes back one night she suspects of his activities, she tells him to sleep on the couch. Bart, Milhouse and Ralph are the finalists at the Hello Krusty's Krusty's Toy Trample!. The challenge is hot beween Bart and Milhouse but in the end Ralph wins by grabbing both of their carts.

Homer invites Marge out saying he'll make it all clear at The Snow Ballroom and they beautifully dance together. In the end, Lisa won something too, having written Ralph's essay too, a toy pony.
